THERE IS NO RIGHT WAY TO MAKE AN LPX.
An LPX might be lyrics and artwork, a visual journey, an illustrated narrative, a graphic novel, a cinematic world, a memory box, an interactive experience, photographs and handwritten notes, or almost nothing except the music and the space to actually listen to it.
It might be something none of us has thought of yet.
We don’t start with a template.
We start with you.
Possibilities, not presets.

It listens. It asks questions. It notices things.
It helps you discover what belongs with the music.
Eventually, it may work with lyrics, artwork, photographs, liner notes, music, and anything else that already belongs to the record.
YOU STAY THE CREATIVE AUTHORITY.
The Guide can suggest. It can question. It can connect things you may not have connected yet.
But it does not decide what your record becomes.

Before the conversation begins, a few simple facts give the record somewhere to start.
This is a preview of the future Guide. Nothing is collected here yet.
LET THE RECORD SPEAK FOR ITSELF.
When the real Guide is ready, you may optionally let it work from lyrics, artwork, photos, liner notes, written material, and the record itself.
Source material is working material. The finished LPX process should not require us to keep a permanent library of your music or artwork.

These are not six mandatory screens. A real conversation moves between them naturally.

Eventually, after it has earned the conclusion, the Guide may be able to say:
“I think I know what this record wants to be.”
Not a category. A treatment you can picture: how the listener enters, what happens while the music plays, how artwork or words participate, how the experience changes across the record, where restraint matters, and how it ends.
Then you react. What did it get right? What did it get wrong?
The Guide keeps listening until you recognize the record in the idea.
WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT, WE BUILD IT.
You may build it yourself, use an AI coding agent, use LPX tools, hire a developer, hire AHiP, or hire somebody else.
You may host it where you want, move it, change it, rebuild it, or fork it.
You do not need LPX or AHiP permission.
LPX is an open format. Its specifications are openly documented, and its reference implementation is open source.
The Format defines the language.
Core provides the machinery.
The artist makes the record into a place.
TAKE THE IDEA WITH YOU.
The eventual Guide will leave you with a Creative Brief and an LPX Project File.
The Creative Brief will be a human-readable PDF describing the approved LPX vision. The LPX Project File will be a portable machine-readable file containing the decisions already made during the Guide conversation.
Its purpose is simple: the builder should not make you answer the same questions all over again.
